Nancy Williams, Managing Director
Nancy was the founder and CEO for 15 years of HoneyLuna.com, a company which provides honeymoon couples with an opportunity to register for the items and activities of their honeymoons as wedding gifts. Nancy was the driving force behind creating the honeymoon wedding registry market.
An avid traveler and Master SCUBA diver herself, Nancy has traveled the world and has used her own experiences and travel knowledge to help thousands of newlyweds throughout the country plan their honeymoons all over the world. HoneyLuna’s honeymoon registry concept has been written about in publications such as Alaska Airlines Magazine, Time, Newsweek and Conde Nast Traveler. Nancy has written articles for Entrepeneur PR and other wedding planning publications. She has appeared on several news stories throughout the country about honeymoons and honeymoon registries. In addition, she has appeared on several forums about wedding and honeymoon planning such as the Softech Forum “Love on the Web”. Nancy sold HoneyLuna in 2008 and is now using her business and travel expertise with Gift of Travel.
In addition to her years of experience in travel, Nancy is active in the non-profit community. Nancy was a member of the Bay Area Lunachix Trail Running Team running to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Fund. She has completed fund raising events such as the San Francisco AIDS Walk and the California AIDS ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. She is currently volunteering for the Marine Mammal Center at their Monterey Bay Operations facility and is a Monterey Bay Sanctuary Steward with Save Our Shores. In addition, Nancy oversees the Gift of Travel Foundation and works to grow her own philanthropic interests.
Nancy was recently selected to present to the Carl Wilkens Fellows of the Genocide Intervention Network about the power of passive fundraising and the Gift of Travel's "Travel as a Fundraiser" program.
Paul Williams, Director
Paul is a successful entrepreneur and has worked extensively in Professional Development and Business Development.
He is currently involved in the ongoing development and growth of solar power for non-profits and for-profit sectors so they can work on achieving their own sustainable, renewable power sources.
As a single father, Paul has raised a special needs son who participated regularly with the Special Olympics and other Special Needs Networks. In working with these organizations, Paul realized the ongoing need to give back and find additional ways to provide a larger, broad base of support for these organizations.
Paul has also completed several athletic fund raising events and just triumphantly completed a 100 mile bicycle ride raising funds for the American Diabetes Association "Tour De Cure".
